Product Solutions
Microwave Packaging Technology is a supplier to companies who require the best solutions for their packages, modules and subsystems. Our key capability is applications from 1 to 60GHz including wireless, satellite, point-to-point systems, radar (phased array), transmit/receive modules and telecommunications.
Packaging
Without the right package, even a breakthrough RF/microwave component will not perform correctly. This is due to the fact that high frequency applications require packaging solutions that do not degrade the rf signal path. Our customers come to us for solutions to their MMIC and component packaging with surface mount (SMT) QFN style packages. The Microwave Packaging Technology Advantage is that we have proven packages with bandwidth from DC to 40GHz. This allow us to provide packaging solutions for RFICs, MMICs, filters, antennas, couplers, switches, baluns, SIP, GaAs and SiGe.
Modules
Successful development requires in-depth knowledge of the issues facing microwave and millimeter-wave modules. A few of the significant issues are manufacturing and test processes, coupling, resonance, hybrid circuits, chip and wire issues, surface mount devices, thick/thin film, ceramics and laminates. We have successfully delivered solutions for low noise amplifiers, high power modules, transmit/receive modules, physical layer products for telecom, military radar, satellite and down converters.
Sub Systems
If you require a microwave or millimeter-wave sub system with multiple functions, you are likely familiar with the challenges.
